Navy women lose, 68-64, to N. Hampshire Midshipmen fight back from 15 points behind

Kiki Proctor scored 13 points to lead New Hampshire over Navy, 68-64, last night in a women's basketball game at Alumni Hall in Annapolis.

The Midshipmen (3-2) never led and trailed by as many as 15 points with 9: 42 left to play. A three-pointer by Mandy Stephan cut Navy's deficit to 67-64 with 22 seconds left. The Hawks (3-0) used a 10-2 run over the opening five minutes of the second half to lead 41-29.

Navy trailed 14-4 after the first 7 1/2 minutes and 31-25 at halftime, despite shooting 29 percent.

Laurie Coffey's 16 points led Navy.
