Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Western District

Robbery: A man, 62, was in the 900 block of N. Fulton Ave. about 3 p.m. yesterday when a gunman wearing dark clothing and a black jacket with vertical yellow stripes on the sleeves robbed him of $50.

Southern District

Burglary: A diamond ring with a platinum band valued at $10,000 was stolen Tuesday from a house in the 100 block of W. Lee St. The thief entered through a second-floor bedroom window.

Southwestern District

Bank robbery: A man robbed the First National Bank in the 3200 block of W. North Ave. of an undisclosed sum of money about 10 a.m. Tuesday after giving a teller a holdup note that implied he was armed with a handgun.

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a 50-year-old man of $100 in the 2000 block of Frederick Ave. about 2: 20 a.m. Tuesday. The victim was struck with the handgun, but was not seriously injured.

Burglary: Jewelry, a handgun and four watches, all valued at $500, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 3700 block of Winterbourne Road.

Eastern District

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 1600 block of E. Oliver St. through a rear door Tuesday and stole a satellite TV system, valued at more than $1,000.

Robbery: A gunman robbed a 50-year-old woman of $70 in the 800 block of N. Madeira St. about 7 p.m. Tuesday.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: Photographic equipment, jewelry and electronic games, all valued at more than $7,000, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 5600 block of North Lane.

Robbery try/arrest: A male, 17, was standing outside a convenience store in the 9600 block of Philadelphia Road about 3 p.m. Monday when a teen-ager he recognized attempted to rob him at gunpoint. Police arrested a suspect, 16, on Tuesday.

Robbery: A gunman robbed a man, 58, of $2 at Middleborough Road and Route 702 about 5 p.m. Tuesday, then forced him to withdraw $90 from a nearby ATM.

North Point Precinct

Robbery: A gunman robbed Heavenly Apparel, a clothing store in the first block of N. Dundalk Ave., of $40 about 4 p.m. Tuesday.

Theft/arrest: A man was arrested Tuesday when he attempted to leave Ames department store in the 7800 block of Eastern Ave. without paying for boxer shorts valued at $60.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: A mountain bicycle, valued at more than $1,000, was stolen Tuesday from a basement storage locker in an apartment building in the first block of Fellowship Court.
