Pirates: Named Michael White director of scouting.

Giants: Named Ron Roenicke manager at Triple-A Fresno.


Centennial Conference: Named Franklin & Marshall DE John Greene (St. Paul's) to the all-conference team.

California: Announced resignations of offensive coordinator Doug Cosbie and offensive line coach Monte Clark.

Idaho State: Named Larry Lewis football coach.

Maryland: Announced that B Jen Pratt (first team), M Carla Tagliente (first team) and F Keli Smith (second team) have been named to National Field Hockey Coaches Association All-America teams.


Mighty Ducks: Recalled C Josef Marha and RW Frank Banham from AHL Cincinnati.
