Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Southern District

Robbery/arrest: A man, 20, was in the 200 block of S. Carey St. about 9: 30 p.m. Monday when a man robbed him of $25. After Officer Donald Jones received the robber's description, a man fitting it was arrested as he was about to enter a car parked nearby. Charged with robbery was Cleveland Faulcon, 33, of the 3200 block of Mondawmin Ave.

Robbery: Two men impersonating police officers forced their way into a second-floor apartment in the 3400 block of 6th St. about 8 p.m. Monday, assaulted the 55-year-old male occupant and robbed him of a gold watch and more than $200. The victim was treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Eastern District

Stabbing: A man, 21, was in critical condition last night at Johns Hopkins Hospital after an unknown assailant stabbed him several times in the upper body about 5: 30 p.m. yesterday near his home in the 1800 block of N. Durham St. Detective Donald Steinhice said a motive for the attack was not known.

Southwestern District

Bank robbery: A man robbed the First Union Bank in the 3200 block of W. North Ave. of an undisclosed sum of money about 8 a.m. Monday after giving a teller a holdup note.

Assault: A boy, 15, and a woman, 20, were arguing Monday in the 1700 block of N. Rosedale St. when the woman sprayed the boy with a chemical irritant and stabbed him in the head. Police said the boy was not treated for his injuries and that the woman was issued a criminal summons.

Stolen car: A white 1989 Pontiac station wagon with wood-grain siding and tags XAY 232 was stolen Monday in the 3200 block of Washington Blvd.

Robbery: A man, 64, was in the 600 block of Mount Holly St. about 9 p.m. Monday when a gunman robbed him of property of unknown value.

Robbery: Police were seeking two teen-age males who assaulted a man outside his car in the 2800 block of W. Mulberry St. about 9 p.m. Monday and robbed him of $400.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: Welding tools of unknown value were stolen from Maryland Metal Products in the 8500 block of Contractors Road overnight Sunday.

North Point Precinct

Robbery try/arrests: A man was at Dunmanway and Sollers Point Road about 7: 30 p.m. Monday when two teen-age boys struck him with a bottle and attempted to rob him. Several motorists stopped their cars, pursued the youths and held them for police. The victim was not seriously hurt.

Theft: A 20-inch bicycle valued at $252 was stolen Monday from the back yard of a house in the 8000 block of Wood Ave.

Burglary: A 19-inch TV valued at more than $200 was stolen Monday from a house in the 2300 block of Ruth Ave.
