NAACP, NationsBank offer workshop Dec. 5 on buying a home

The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People and NationsBank are offering a free Home Buyer Workshop from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 5 at 4805 Mount Hope Drive.

Workshop topics include credit, how much house you can afford, applying for a mortgage, determining the value of a home and working with a real estate agent.

Participants will be awarded a certificate entitling prospective homebuyers to apply for special NationsBank affordable mortgages.
