Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Southern District

Shooting/arrest: A man who was shot in the right leg during an incident in the 1200 block of W. Lombard St. Oct. 27 and who didn't seek medical attention until Sunday after the wound became infected was arrested Sunday on warrants charging him with violation of probation and theft. Police said the man first told them he was shot by an unknown man in Virginia, but changed his story while being interviewed. Held at the Central Booking and Intake Center was David Murphy, 24, of the 1200 block of W. Pratt St. Police were seeking a known suspect in the shooting.

Robbery: A woman, 37, was in the 1200 block of W. Pratt St. about 11 a.m. Sunday when three men, one armed with a handgun, robbed her of her purse containing more than $100.

Stolen car: A dark red, four-door 1997 Toyota Camry with tags XVJ 434 was stolen Sunday in the 300 block of Warren Ave.

Northwestern District

Robbery: A gunman robbed Tyrone's Chicken Carryout in the 3300 block of Ayrdale Ave. of more than $500 about 10 p.m. Sunday and rode away on a bicycle.

Robbery: After ordering carryout food at Dominic's restaurant in the 4000 block of Fallstaff Road about 7 p.m. Sunday, two men, one with a handgun, robbed the restaurant of more than $200.

Eastern District

Robbery: A man, 30, was walking in the 1500 block of E. North Ave. about 10: 30 p.m. Sunday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of $300.

Northern District

Robbery: A woman was robbed of her leather coat, valued at $300, by a gunman in the 500 block of E. 25th St. about 5 p.m. Sunday.

Robbery: After answering a knock at the door of his apartment in the 2100 block of St. Paul St. about noon Sunday, a man, 79, was forced back inside by an unknown intruder who robbed him of property of unknown value. The victim, who was shaken but not injured, reported the robbery several hours later.

Baltimore County

Essex Precinct

Burglary/arrest: A Harford County man was arrested Saturday and was charged with entering an apartment in the first block of Mars Road between Oct. 23 and Oct. 31 and stealing a microwave oven, several compact discs, a watch and other property. Police said the intruder left his identification in the dwelling and they traced him to the nearby Tall Trees Apartments Saturday and arrested him. Police said Arthur Smith, 18, of Edgewood, was held at the county Detention Center in lieu of $10,000 bond.

Towson Precinct

Robbery try: Four male teen-agers were standing outside the Royal Farms store in the 600 block of Southwick Road about 7 p.m. Saturday when a man wearing a New York Mets baseball cap and dark clothing, and who implied he was armed, ordered them to give up their money and property. When the four refused, the man and two male companions walked away.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: Someone broke into Watson's Fireplace and Patio in the 1600 block of York Road through a gate overnight Friday and stole four chairs, a 42-inch-long table and two bar stools, all valued at nearly $2,000.
