Halloween Kids' Night Out

You may be climbing the walls Halloween night at Gerstung's sports place. Not out of fear, but for an evening of indoor sports fun, including rock climbing, trampolining, races, games, arts and crafts. And since it is Halloween, bring your costume and enjoy some creepy activities. Dare to enter the haunted cave, take part in spooky adventures, follow the costume parade, get your fill of Halloween candy and receive a goodie bag to take home. Event is geared toward kids ages 4 and up.

The event gets under way Saturday at 6 p.m. and runs until 10 p.m. at Gerstung, 1400 Coppermine Terrace. $40; $30 for siblings. Reservations required. Call 410-337-7781. The B&O Railroad Museum has been transformed into the Transylvania Train Station. Visitors on Halloween and Sunday will be spooked by haunted storytelling, ghoulish characters and a creepy train ride on the "Frightliner." Children can collect at trick-or-treat stations; those who come costumed get in free and enter costume contests both days.

Events are Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the B&O Railroad Museum, 901 W. Pratt St. Costume contests at 2 p.m. $6.50; $5.50 seniors; free for ages 12 and under in costume. $2 for "Frightliner" rides. Call 410-752-2388.
