Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Central District

Theft from vehicle: Someone entered a 1995 Geo Tracker parked in the 1000 block of Whitelock St. on Monday and stole 15 cassette tapes, two coats, shoes, coins and a bank card, all valued at more than $300.

Burglary: Cash and jewelry, all valued at more than $150, were stolen from an apartment in the first block of Mount Vernon Place on Monday by someone who entered through a bedroom window.

Burglary: A videocassette recorder, gold bracelet, onyx ring and watch, all valued at more than $1,200, were stolen from an apartment in the first block of E. Eager St. on Monday by someone who entered through a door.

Eastern District

Assault: A man was sitting on the front porch of his home in the 2300 block of Aiken St. about 10 p.m. Monday when an argument broke out between him and three men working on the house next door. During the argument, the three workers attacked the man, striking him with an unknown object. The workers left and the man was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital where he was treated for head and eye injuries and released.

Southern District

Burglary: A videocassette recorder and its remote control device, all valued at more than $300, were stolen from a house in the 1300 block of S. Hanover St. on Monday by someone who entered through the front door.

Northern District

Burglary: A compact disc player and several pieces of jewelry, all valued at more than $600, were stolen Monday from a house in the 4300 block of Roland Springs Drive by someone who entered through a window after cutting a screen.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: Sixty sheets of drywall and several pieces of aluminum siding, all of unknown value, were stolen from the garage of a house under construction in the 9400 block of Belair Road between Saturday and Monday.

Burglary: A Dodge dump truck, trailer and a front-end loader were stolen Friday from Quality Paving in the 600 block of Todds Lane. The theft was reported Monday.

Burglary: A gas-powered air compressor and a pump, the property of Cleveland Construction, were stolen from a shed in the 5300 block of Campbell Blvd. between Saturday and Monday.

North Point Precinct

Robbery/arrest: A boy, 13, was in the 8100 block of Wise Ave. about 3: 30 p.m. Monday when an older boy robbed him of his watch, valued at nearly $200. A short time later, police arrested a suspect and recovered the watch.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: Twenty silver dollars were stolen from a house in the 8600 block of Richmond Circle on Monday by someone who entered through a bathroom window.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: Two socket wrench sets valued at more than $100 were stolen from a garage in the 200 block of Midhurst Road overnight Sunday.

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 6000 block of Falls Road between Saturday and Monday by breaking a rear door and stole a set of skis valued at $100. Police said damage to the door was more than $300.
