Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Eastern District

Arrest: A teen-ager has been arrested and charged as an adult with attempted murder in the Oct. 16 shooting of a man, 18, in a house in the 1600 block of Normal Ave. Detective Frank Miller of the Violent Crimes Task Force said Shawn Jackson, 15, of the 1600 block of Cliftview Ave. was arrested at his home Wednesday on a search and seizure warrant and is being held at the Central Booking and Intake Center. The victim was shot in the stomach when he tried to prevent two males from entering the house. He was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital and released.

Robbery: Two employees of Wendy's restaurant in the 2000 block of Harford Road were about to make a night deposit at First National Bank in the 700 block of E. 25th St. on Wednesday afternoon when a gunman robbed them of a bank bag containing more than $500.

Southwestern District

Robbery try/shooting: A man was in the 2900 block of W. Lafayette Ave. about 3: 40 a.m. yesterday when two men, one with a handgun, tried to rob him. When the victim turned to flee, the gunman shot him in the left forearm. The victim was treated at St. Agnes HealthCare and released. No arrests had been made.

Southern District

Shooting: A man was driving a truck in the 2500 block of Maisel St. about 9: 30 p.m. Wednesday when a passenger in a passing car fired several shots at the truck, hitting him in the upper right leg. He was in serious condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center yesterday.

Robbery: A man forced his way into a house in the 1800 block of Dover St. about 8 p.m. Wednesday and robbed a female occupant of $45 at knifepoint.

Burglary/arrest: A man was arrested Wednesday shortly after he broke into a house in the 1600 block of Filbert St. through the front door. No property was reported missing.

Central District

Burglary: A furnace and kitchen sink, all valued at $1,000, were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 500 block of Gold St.

Northwestern District

Burglary: A lawn mower valued at $200 was stolen from a garage in the 4100 block of Liberty Heights Ave. on Wednesday.

Robbery: A woman, 54, was in the 4000 block of Dorchester Road about 7: 25 p.m. Wednesday when a man pushed her to the ground and stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at more than $200.

Stolen car: A 1992 Dodge Caravan with tags 910686M was stolen Wednesday in the 7000 block of Park Heights Ave.

Stolen car: When a man got out of a four-door 1994 Volvo with tags ESD 268 to talk to his cousin in the 4900 block of Pimlico Road about 10 p.m. Wednesday, two females he had picked up earlier drove away in the car.

North Point Precinct

Burglary: An air conditioner and a compressor, worth $1,400, were stolen Wednesday from two sheds in the 800 block of Wise Ave.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: A mountain bike was stolen from a garage in the 300 block of Regester Ave. between Saturday and Tuesday.
