School club offers bus trip to Radio City Music Hall

Glenelg Country School's Grandparents' Club is sponsoring a bus trip to see the Christmas show at Radio City Music Hall in New York. The trip is scheduled Dec. 1, and it is open to parents and friends of the school. The $110 cost includes a ticket to the show, dinner at TuTuBene in Harmon Meadows, N.J., and round-trip travel on a Eyre Tour and Travel deluxe motor coach with a videocassette recorder. Fulton Elementary PTA sponsors pupil arts contest

The Fulton Elementary School PTA is sponsoring an arts fTC contest open to all pupils from kindergarten through fifth grade. Literature, music composition, photography and other visual arts will be judged. Children are asked to center their work on the theme, "Suddenly you turn around and " Entries will be evaluated arts professionals, and selected works will be considered by the county-level PTA Reflections Committee to advance to the state and national level, or both, for judging. PTA meeting to include health and safety fair

The Fulton Elementary School PTA general membership meeting on Oct. 26 will include a health and safety fair. Health and Safety Committee chairwoman Jackie Miller is seeking Fulton-area health professionals to participate. Information: 410-531-6683.

Schools offer information on applying for scholarships

Fliers describing application procedures for Knott elementary and secondary scholarships are available to Catholic students in grades 4 or 8. To apply, students must live in and be a member of a Catholic parish in Baltimore or Baltimore, Carroll, Anne Arundel, Harford, Howard or Frederick counties. Knott scholarships are four-year, full-tuition scholarships awarded for outstanding academic achievement. Centennial High plans Italian dinner and concert

Centennial High School will have an Italian dinner and concert Tuesday. Dinner, consisting of spaghetti, meatballs, garlic bread, a salad bar, desserts and coffee, tea and lemonade, will be from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. A strolling minstrel will perform during dinner, and Centennial High music students will hold a concert at 7: 30. The school is at 4300 Centennial Lane in Ellicott City.
