Arena Players. Open auditions for six shows -- "Goodbye Blues," "The Drum," "Disturbed Persons," "Every Goodbye Ain't Gone," "Wine in the Wilderness," and "Prophecy Fulfilled." 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at the theater, 801 McCulloh St. Prepare 2-minute monologue and 2-minute song. Axis Theatre. "Twilight of the Golds." 7: 30 p.m. Nov. 2 at historic Meadow Mill, 3600 Clipper Mill Road. Needed are three men, ages 20-50, and a woman in her 50s. Perform a short contemporary monologue. Call 410-243-0167.

Children's Theater Association. Needed are actors ages 22-50 who are available during the day. Positions are paid. Be prepared for a cold reading. Bring resume and head shot. Call for time, 410-366-6403.

Harford Community College. Jazz artists needed for new professional vocal jazz ensemble, in residence at HCC. Good readers are essential, improvisational skills a plus. Auditions by appointment.
