Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Southern District

Stabbing: A man, 30, was in a house in the 900 block of Stoll St. about 9: 30 a.m. yesterday when he was stabbed in the chest by another man who fled and was being sought. Detective Roscoe Lewis said the stabbing appeared to be drug-related. He said the victim was in critical but stable condition last night at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Cab holdup: A driver for Cab Connection Ltd. was stopped in the 1100 block of Monroe Circle about 9 p.m. Wednesday when two passengers he picked up robbed him of $80 at gunpoint.

Theft: Power washing equipment valued at more than $1,000 was stolen Wednesday from Southern Galvanizing in the 1600 block of Bush St. Two men were seen driving away in a red 1975 Chevrolet pickup truck.

Burglary: A .25-caliber handgun, leather coat and more than $500, all valued at nearly $1,000, were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 2500 block of Southdene Ave.

Burglary: A videocassette recorder, two laptop computers, a ZTC gold watch, 20 compact discs, a compact disc player and cash, all valued at more than $4,000, were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 600 block of Washington Blvd.

Northeastern District

Stolen car: A red 1992 Chevrolet with tags ETA 940 was stolen Wednesday in the 3900 block of Erdman Ave. The owner of the car was cited for leaving the keys in the ignition.

Northwestern District

Burglary: Computer equipment valued at more than $7,000 was stolen from the American Red Cross in the 4700 block of Mount Hope Drive on Monday. The burglary was reported Tuesday.

Eastern District

Stolen truck: A U-Haul truck with California tags BP75077 was stolen from U-Haul Moving Center in the 4300 block of Pulaski Highway over the weekend.

Robbery: A gunman robbed a woman of $40 about 2 p.m. Tuesday in the 1300 block of N. Chester St.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: Electronic games valued at $120 were stolen from a garage in the 9000 block of Fieldchat Road on Wednesday.

Burglary: A VCR, jewelry and other property, all valued at more than $2,000, were stolen from a house in the 600 block of Old Home Road on Wednesday.

Essex Precinct

Burglary: Garden equipment valued at $200 was stolen from a shed in the 400 block of Essex Court on Wednesday.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: Computer equipment and other property, all valued at more than $3,000, were stolen overnight Tuesday from a house in the 3100 block of E. Joppa Road.
