Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Central District

Theft: Nearly $1,000 was stolen Tuesday from a safe in an office at the Mechanic Theatre in the first block of Hopkins Place.

Theft: Board games and other equipment used for training purposes, and valued at more than $20,000, were stolen Tuesday from a room at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in the 300 block of Light St.

Theft: A 35 mm camera and two jackets, all valued at more than $1,000, were stolen Tuesday from a 1992 Pontiac parked in the 500 block of E. Pratt St.

Southern District

Theft: Tools valued at $80 were stolen from a truck parked Tuesday in the 1900 block of Russell St.

Robbery: A man, 28, was leaving a house in the 200 block of S. Payson St. about 8 p.m. Tuesday when an unarmed man robbed him of several pieces of jewelry, all valued at nearly $2,000.

Burglary: A set of pearls, stereo equipment and several compact discs, all valued at more than $6,000, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 1400 block of Hollins St.

Western District

Robbery: Two men attacked a man in the 600 block of N. Carey St. about 6 p.m. Tuesday and robbed him of $50. The victim was treated for a head injury at Maryland General Hospital and released.

Northwestern District

Robbery: A gunman robbed a man, 29, of $20 in the 4900 block of Park Heights Ave. on Tuesday.

Theft: A mountain bicycle valued at more than $300 was removed from the rear deck of a house in the 5900 block of Western Run Road on Tuesday.

Eastern District

Assault: While two men argued with another man in the 900 block of E. 41st St. about 3: 20 a.m. Monday about buying his 1986 Acura, three shots were fired at the pair. Neither was hit. The man selling the car was arrested, police said.

Burglary: Two fireplace mantels and two archways, all valued at nearly $3,000, were stolen Tuesday from a vacant house in the 300 block of E. 24th St.

Burglary: Cabinets, a gas furnace, two interior doors, carpets, tools and windows, all valued at nearly $3,000, were stolen Monday from a vacant house in the 1700 block of Llewelyn Ave.

Burglary: Someone entered Booker's Mini-Mart in the 1700 block of E. North Ave. on Tuesday and stole 15 cartons of cigarettes, 30 bottles of deodorant and 30 sunglasses, all valued at nearly $500.

Stolen car: A 1990 Plymouth Acclaim with tags CEP 867 was stolen Tuesday in the 2100 block of Cliftwood Ave.

Garrison Precinct

Bank robbery: A man robbed Eastern Savings Bank in the 1400 block of Reisterstown Road of an undisclosed sum of money about 1: 40 p.m. Tuesday after giving a teller a holdup note.

Woodlawn Precinct

Robbery: After a man paid for a soft drink with nickels at the 7-Eleven store in the 6700 block of Windsor Mill Road about 5: 30 p.m. Tuesday, he reached over the counter when the clerk opened the cash register and stole an undisclosed sum of money.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: Three televisions, a videocassette recorder, stereo speakers and a duffel bag were stolen Tuesday from a house in the first block of Terron Court.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered a house under renovation in the 1400 block of Francke Ave. on Tuesday and stole several bottles of beer and a duffel bag containing clothing. Police said all but the beer was recovered in a nearby yard.

Burglary: An 18-speed, 24-inch bicycle valued at nearly $300 was stolen from a shed in the 300 block of Seminary Ave. overnight Monday.
