Anne Arundel County Circuit Judge Clayton R. Greene Jr. sentenced a man whose break-ins terrified Crofton residents to 15 years in prison -- on top of the 19 years he's already serving.

Larry M. Johnson, 47, of the 11800 block of Thrift Road in Clinton had been convicted of 14 counts of felony theft of heirlooms from Crofton homes. Police said they had tied him to 85 burglaries in Maryland and Delaware.

"He didn't get off easy," said Assistant State's Attorney Thomas J. Fleckenstein.

Johnson was previously sentenced to 10 years in Harford County and nine years in Delaware for similar burglaries.
