Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Southeastern District

Robbery: A man robbed High's dairy store in the 6700 block of Brentwood Ave. of an undisclosed sum of money about 10 p.m. Wednesday. The robber struck a clerk in the head after demanding money.

Northeastern District

Stolen vehicle: A 1996 Ford Bronco with tags 830247M was stolen Wednesday in the 6700 block of Pulaski Highway.

Western District

Shooting: A man, 18, was in the 1800 block of Lauretta Ave. about 1: 25 a.m. yesterday when he heard several gunshots and then felt pain. He was in serious condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center yesterday with wounds in his back and side.

Southern District

Robbery: A man was standing in line to get a money order at America's Cash Express in the 1200 block of W. Pratt St. about 10 p.m. Wednesday when another man grabbed $120 from his grasp and fled.

Burglary: Electronic games and cigarettes, all valued at $700, were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 1100 block of Riverside Ave.

Theft: Tools valued at $500 were stolen from a 1997 Dodge pickup truck parked in the 3600 block of Leo St. on Wednesday.

Burglary: A videocassette recorder, electronic games and several VCR tapes, all valued at nearly $600, were stolen from a house in the 1400 block of Light St. on Wednesday.

Northern District

Stolen car: A 1993 Plymouth with tags FRA 638 was stolen Wednesday in the 2700 block of Greenmount Ave.

Theft: A battery valued at $80 was stolen from under the hood of a 1995 Ford truck parked in the 500 block of E. 33rd St. on Wednesday.

Essex Precinct

Arson: A fire in an apartment building in the first block of Oak Grove Drive in Middle River early yesterday injured a resident and caused $50,000 damage. The Fire Department ruled the incident an arson. The fire began in a first-floor apartment about 12: 25 a.m. and quickly spread to the second floor, forcing several residents to flee. The injured resident was treated for smoke inhalation at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. Firefighters from five stations brought the fire under control in less than 30 minutes.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: A mountain bicycle valued at more than $200 was stolen from a garage in the 3000 block of Oak Forest Drive on Wednesday.

Towson Precinct

Robbery: A woman, 27, was walking through the garage at Towson Town Center in the 800 block of Dulaney Valley Road about 8 p.m. Wednesday when two teen-age males, one with a handgun, robbed her of jewelry and compact discs, all of unknown value.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: A bicycle, cordless drill and a cellular phone, all valued at nearly $1,000, were stolen Wednesday from a garage in the 600 block of Oak Farm Court.

Burglary: Golf clubs and a 10-speed bicycle, all valued at more than $3,000, were stolen Wednesday from a garage in the 12400 block of Happy Hollow Road.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: A stove and dish washer, all valued at nearly $800, were stolen Tuesday from a house being built in the 100 block of Summer Woods Way.

Burglary: A TV and videocassette recorder were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 4900 block of Patterson Ave. by someone who entered through a basement door.

Stolen car: A green 1995 Ford Windstar with tags 894802M was stolen Wednesday in the 12300 block of Boncrest Drive.
