Robert C. Reynolds, 51, Towson University auditor

Robert C. Reynolds, a certified public accountant who was director of internal audit at Towson University, died Monday of a brain tumor at Gilchrist Center for Hospice Care. He was 51 and lived in Owings Mills.

He was employed at Towson for at least 15 years and previously was a state auditor.

Born in New Brighton, Pa., he was a Navy corpsman from 1967 to 1971 and earned a bachelor's degree from Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pa., in 1974.

His marriage to the former Donna Bergmark ended in divorce.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. tomorrow at Ruck Towson Funeral Home, 1050 York Road.

He is survived by a son, David J. Reynolds, and a daughter, Laura E. Reynolds, both of Sykesville; his parents, Robert N. and Margaret J. Reynolds of Beaver; and three sisters, Margaret Popken of Santa Cruz, Calif., Christine Panner of Savannah, Ga., and Gertrude Reynolds of Beaver.

John F. Dunn, former Baltimore Register of Wills and founder of an appraisal company, died Tuesday in his sleep at St. Joseph Medical Center. The Northeast Baltimore resident was 75.

The former city police officer was register of wills from 1958 until his retirement in 1983.

That year, he established John F. Dunn & Sons, a Baltimore real estate and chattels appraisal firm. He retired last year.

The Northeast Baltimore native graduated from City College in 1940 and served in the Navy during World War II.

He was a communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 4420 Frankford Ave., where a Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 11 a.m. tomorrow.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, the former Harriett Strosnider; two sons, John A. "Rocky" Dunn of Hamilton and Michael J. Dunn of Kingsville; two daughters, Sheila A. Mund and LTC Kelly F. Dunn-Feliz, both of Glen Arm; two brothers, William E. Dunn of Los Altos, Calif., and Charles Gilbert Dunn of Kent Island; a sister, Mary Dunn-Rouchard of Eldersburg; and seven grandchildren.
