Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Central District

Shooting: After arguing with another man outside an all-night restaurant/carryout in the 300 block of W. Baltimore St. about 12: 10 a.m. Tuesday, a man went to a car parked nearby and got a tire iron from the trunk. As he walked back to the restaurant, the man he was arguing with pulled out a handgun and shot him in the foot. The gunman and two other men fled. The wounded man was treated at Harbor Hospital Center and released.

Northern District

Shooting: A man was about to enter a friend's house in the 300 block of E. 28th St. about 12: 15 a.m. Tuesday when one of two men on bicycle called him by his nickname. When the man turned around, one of the cyclists shot him in the right thumb with a handgun. A friend drove the victim to Union Memorial Hospital, where he was treated and released.

Southern District

Theft: An 18-volt cordless drill valued at $300 was stolen Monday from a house in the 1300 block of Cambria St.

Burglary: A washer, dryer, refrigerator and interior doors, all valued at more than $1,600, were stolen Monday from a house in the 1100 block of Ward St.

Northwestern District

Robbery try: A man, 51, was in the 3300 block of Piedmont Ave. about 10 p.m. Tuesday when a teen-age male with a pit bull on a leash demanded his money and began searching his pockets. When the suspect found no money or valuables, he ordered the dog to bite the man. The dog bit the man on the foot.

Robbery: A gunman robbed a man, 23, of more than $50 in the 4100 block of Newbern Ave. about 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Theft: A woman trying to steal paint supplies worth more than $17 was stopped Tuesday by a security officer at the Hechinger store in the 6500 block of Reisterstown Road. She was given a citation to appear in District Court.

Eastern District

Cutting: A man, 45, was in the 1300 block of N. Luzerne Ave. on Tuesday when another man cut him on the forearm with an unknown sharp object. No arrest had been made, and the victim declined medical treatment.

Burglary: Wooden cabinets, a furnace and other property, all valued at nearly $2,000, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 700 block of N. Rose St.

Burglary: A moped, hand and power tools, a battery charger, an air compressor and two tires, all valued at more than $1,600, were stolen Monday from a garage in the 400 block of E. 22nd St.

Robbery: A woman, 18, was in the 1800 block of N. Caroline St. about 11 a.m. Tuesday when a man pressed a handgun to her back and robbed her of $25.

Robbery: A man, 20, was riding his 21-inch mountain bicycle in the 1000 block of Greenmount Ave. on Tuesday when two men, one riding a bicycle, knocked him to the ground and stole his bicycle, valued at $1,100.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered Big Fat Daddy's pit beef stand in the 800 block of Pulaski Highway on Tuesday and stole more than $100.

Burglary: Three televisions, stereo equipment, a silver place setting and clothing, all valued at more than $6,000, were stolen from a house in the 4200 block of Beaconsfield Drive between Sept. 21 and Friday.

Burglary: Two mountain bikes valued at nearly $1,000 were stolen Tuesday from a shed in the 4500 block of Springwood Court.

Wilkens Precinct

Burglary: Three boxes of collectible miniature trucks valued at nearly $2,000 were stolen from a house in the 1200 block of Circle Drive on Tuesday. Police said a known suspect was being sought.

Burglary: Jewelry, $400 and a TV were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 200 block of Edridge Way.
