Trafalgar House Residential has opened the third section at Snowden Pond at Montpelier in Laurel, where the firm is offering eight floor plans on lots from one-quarter acre to one-half acre.

Gas heat and hot water, a sprinkler system, smoke detectors, dining room chair rail, and crown molding in the living room, dining room and foyer are some of the standard features in the Prince George's County community.

Snowden Pond sits next to Patuxent Wildlife Research Center and includes a community park, picnic tables and a pagoda.

Trafalgar's model at Montpelier is the Calvert, a 2,257-square-foot home with a beginning price of $210,990.

The two-story foyer is flanked by a 15-by-12-foot living room and 12-by-9-foot library. Also on the first floor are a 13-by-12-foot dining room, 13-by-11-foot kitchen with pantry, 12-by-10-foot breakfast area, 19-by-13-foot family room, guest closet, laundry and powder rooms and two-car garage.
