Pasadena man charged with rape in molestation of Mount Airy girl

A Pasadena man was arrested on rape and other charges yesterday in connection with the molestation of a Mount Airy girl between December 1994 and June 1997.

Kevin L. Foster of the 7800 block of Westshore Drive was charged with second-degree rape, second-, third- and fourth-degree sexual offenses and second-degree assault. He was being held at the Carroll County Detention Center on $25,000 bail.

To protect her privacy, the girl, now 15, is not being identified.

Ant-Wal-Mart group to meet tomorrow

Us Against the Wal, the Mount Airy group battling Wal-Mart, will meet at 7 p.m. tomorrow at American Legion Post 191 at 801 Prospect Ave.

The group is fighting a proposed Wal-Mart store in the town.
