Meet Eric Wynalda

Eric Wynalda of Major League Soccer's San Jose Clash is lightning fast! "Eric is so skilled and so sneaky that he can score at anytime," says Marcelo Balboa of the Colorado Rapids.

Earlier this summer, Eric played on the U.S. team in the World Cup. He is the team's all-time leading scorer.

When Eric was a kid, he had difficulty reading. But he worked hard to overcome his problem. Today, reading is his favorite hobby!

Strath Haven High was trailing Penncrest High, 46-47, with one second left to play. A Strath Haven player launched a 3-point shot.

The final buzzer sounded as the ball hit the hoop and spun around inside the rim. Then it spun off the rim, hit the backboard, and bounced back onto the rim.

The ball spun slowly around the rim again, then came to a stop. The ball was stuck on top of the rim next to the backboard!

Was the game over? Had Penncrest won?
