"The Berenstain Bears and the Galloping Ghost' by Stan and Jan Berenstain is my favorite book because I like horses. I also liked it because the lady who owned the horse riding academy got to keep her school after all."

"I read the mystery comic 'Picture Not So Perfect,' a mysterstory. The background is colorful. Slime clogs the pipes. That is why 'Picture Not So Perfect' is my favorite comic!"

Keith White

"My favorite book is 'Case of the Missing Pitcher' by T.J. Edwards. I like it because baseball is my second favorite sport and the book is exciting. The best part is when they found the pitcher."

Michael Tasselmyer

Jacksonville Elementary

"I like the story of 'My Dog's The Best.' It is the story of how everyone thinks that their dog is the best. It takes place at this crazy dog party, where there is a contest where kids bring their dogs. I liked seeing the poodle because she was white and had a pompon on her tail."

Julia Schmidt

5th District Elementary
