Seminar offered on tax credits, lead paint rules

The Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors and Historic Maryland Housing will co-sponsor a seminar on lead paint regulations, tax credits for historic preservation, and grant programs for lead remediation from 6: 30 p.m. to 9: 30 p.m. Sept. 14 at the Sheppard Pratt Conference Center, 6501 N. Charles St.

Among the panelists will be Michael Day of the Maryland Historical Trust on tax credits for historic properties; James Keck of Leadtec on lead paint regulations; Melvin Knight of O'Conor, Piper & Flynn-ERA on federal regulations in residential property transactions; Alfred Singer of Singer Realty on changes in Maryland lead paint regulations; and Amy Spanier of Baltimore's Healthy Start Program on city grants.

The fee for real estate agents seeking three continuing education credits is $35 in advance and $20 in advance for those not seeking credit. Add $10 for in-person registration.
