State police probe robbery at Coastal service station

State police in Westminster are investigating a robbery Saturday at the S. L. Bare Coastal gas station in the first block of Sullivan Road.

Police said a man walked to the cashier's booth about 9: 30 p.m., implied he had a weapon, demanded money and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount.

The suspect was described as white, 6 feet, 170 pounds with straight, light brown hair. He wore dark pants and a white shirt.

Fires

Reese: Firefighters from Reese and Hampstead responded at 8: 12 p.m. Sunday to an electrical fire in the 2300 block of Neudecker Road. Units were out 30 minutes.

Westminster: Firefighters from Westminster, Reese, Pleasant Valley and Manchester responded at 9: 11 p.m. Saturday to a building fire in the 200 block of Englar Road. Units were out 40 minutes.

Reese: Firefighters responded at 5: 08 p.m. Saturday to wires down in the 2800 block of Barrick Lane. Units were out 30 minutes.
