White Sox update

Chicago was reeling, with one win in its past eight games, until sweeping the Orioles last week. Combined score: 25-13. Baldwin allowed three runs in seven innings in one win, and Parque followed by limiting the Orioles to two runs over six innings. Erickson was torched for seven runs and eight hits in 6 1/3 . The White Sox (61-75) are 2 1/2 games behind second-place Kansas City in the AL Central. Their past six losses are by two runs or fewer. They're also looking to improve a 25-41 road record. The White Sox have a league-worst 5.33 ERA, and a .977 fielding percentage that ties for second-worst. Albert Belle is on pace to hit .315 with club records of 48 homers, 142 RBIs, 390 total bases and 97 extra-base hits. Right-hander Chad Bradford has made 11 consecutive scoreless appearances spanning 12 2/3 innings.
