Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Southeastern District

Arrests: Vice squad officers arrested a Silver Spring husband and wife in The Apex Cinema in the 100 block of S. Broadway on Friday night and charged them with indecent exposure. The couple and four male patrons in the theater, which shows adult movies, also were charged with attempting to perform sex acts in a public place. Lt. George Klein, head of the district's vice squad, said the six were arrested when the husband used a tiny flashlight with a red lens to signal men in the theater who wanted to have sex with his wife. Klein said the arrests occurred after several days of complaints from male patrons. Bail hearings for the suspects were pending today.

Southern District

Theft: A videocassette recorder, camcorder, jewelry, scanner and power tools, all valued at more than $1,600, were stolen Aug. 16 from a house in the 1200 block of Cleveland St. The theft was reported Saturday.

Eastern District

Shooting: A man, 29, was in the 2100 block of E. North Ave. about 5 a.m. yesterday when a gunman approached and fired at least 10 shots, hitting the victim six times. The gunman fled. The victim was in stable condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Robbery: After being told there was no money in the cash register, a man with a knife robbed an employee of Byrd's Cut-Rate Liquors, in the 1800 block of N. Gay St., of his wallet containing about $100 about 9 p.m. Saturday.

Burglary: Computer equipment, a videocassette recorder and a telephone, all valued at more than $2,400, were stolen Saturday from a house in the 1300 block of N. Lakewood Ave.

Central District

Robbery: A man with a knife robbed Landmark Parking in the 400 block of Water St. of more than $500 about 6: 40 p.m. Saturday.

Theft: Nine laptop computers valued at $27,000 were stolen Saturday from the Douglass Room at the Omni Inner Harbor Hotel in the 100 block of W. Fayette St.

Theft: A woman, 31, was in the 100 block of N. Greene St. about 1 p.m. Saturday when a man took her purse containing cash and property, all valued at nearly $200.

Woodlawn Precinct

Robbery try/arrests: A girl, 15, and boy, 16, were arrested and charged as juveniles with attempting to rob a woman of her car keys outside Arlington Baptist Church in the 3000 block of Rolling Road about 11 a.m. yesterday. The woman was standing outside her Infiniti on the church parking lot when the girl grabbed her keys. During a struggle, the woman gained control of the keys and the girl fled, joining the boy, who was nearby. Minutes later, police arrested the girl near the church. Later, the boy, accompanied by his mother, surrendered to police at the precinct.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: Stereo equipment and a videocassette recorder, all valued at nearly $1,500, were stolen Saturday from a house in the 8700 block of Summit Ave.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: Four handguns and four shotguns, all of unknown value, were stolen from a house in the 1000 block of Donington Circle over the weekend.
