Learn to use Neighborhood Partnership Program

The Division of Neighborhood Revitalization of the State Department of Housing and Community Development and the Maryland Association of Non Profit Organizations will conduct three Neighborhood Partnership Program training workshops in September.

Workshop participants will learn how to use the Neighborhood Partnership Program to raise funds, form partnerships with the business community and learn the program's application procedures and requirements.

Training is scheduled for 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 1 at the Talbot County Free Library in Easton; 1: 30 p.m. to 4: 30 p.m. Sept. 2 at the Silver Spring Community Library; and 9 a.m. to noon Sept. 10 at Columbia Gateway.

The deadline for submitting an application is Sept. 28.

Free workshop for would-be homeowners

Neighborhood Housing Services of Coppin Heights is holding a free homeownership workshop from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at 2601 W. North Ave. Lunch will be provided for workshop participants. To reserve a seat, call 410-669-2634.
