Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southern District

Theft from vehicle: A cellular phone, pocket organizer, several compact discs and a radio, all valued at more than $900, were stolen Tuesday from a 1994 Honda Accord parked in the 700 block of S. Hanover St.

Burglary: An almond-colored refrigerator of unknown value was stolen Tuesday from a house in the 900 block of Bevan St.

Southwestern District

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 5500 block of Frederick Ave. on Tuesday by forcing a door and stole $200.

Burglary: Jewelry valued at $10,000 and a coin collection worth $3,000 were stolen from a house in the 3500 block of McTavish Ave. overnight Monday.

Burglary: Someone entered Stop, Shop & Save supermarket in the 3400 block of Clifton Ave. through a side door Tuesday and removed an undisclosed sum of cash from an automated teller machine.

Burglary: At least 100 pairs of jeans valued at more than $1,000 were stolen from the One Price City store at the Westside Shopping Center in the 2400 block of Frederick Ave. overnight Monday. The store had been burglarized two days earlier.

Northwestern District

Robbery: A woman, 27, was seated in her parked car in the 5400 block of Park Heights Ave. about 4 p.m. Tuesday when another woman reached into an open window, struck her on the head, took the keys from the ignition and fled. Police said the suspect accused the driver of trying to run down her sister.

Northern District

Burglary: Stereo equipment, compact discs, headphones and a tape player, all of unknown value, were stolen from the second-floor bedroom of a house in the 500 block of N. Duncan St. on Tuesday by someone who entered after removing an air conditioner.

Central District

Robbery: A man, 18, was walking in the 100 block of Park Ave. about 6 p.m. Tuesday when several males attacked him with bottles and stole $40. He suffered cuts and bruises and refused medical treatment.

Theft: A woman was seated in a hall at the Baltimore Convention Center in the first block of W. Pratt St. on Tuesday when a man stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at nearly $200.

Theft: Someone entered an apartment in the first block of E. Chase St. with a key Tuesday and stole jewelry valued at more than $1,000.

Baltimore County

North Point Precinct

Theft: Someone entered a coin-operated laundry in the 7800 block of Wise Ave. on Tuesday and stole more than $300 worth of clothing.

Theft/arrest: Police arrested a woman, 30, who tried to leave the Ames discount store in the 7800 block of Eastern Blvd. on Tuesday without paying for clothing valued at nearly $500.

Burglary: Someone entered a locker at Eastpoint Mini Storage in the 6800 block of Rolling Mill Road on Tuesday and stole a television, two shotguns and two rifles, all valued at more than $400.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered a shed at Epiphany Episcopal Church in the 2200 block of Pot Spring Road on Aug. 14 and destroyed $100 worth of playground equipment. The incident was reported Tuesday.

Burglary: Fifty dollars was stolen from a cash box at Villa Marie Hospice in the 2300 block of Dulaney Valley Road on Tuesday.
