Astros: Craig Biggio's stolen base in the first was his 40th of the year, giving him back-to-back seasons with 40 or more. He ranks second on the Astros' all-time list with 308. Cesar Cedeno is the leader with 487.

Braves: Andres Galarraga set a painful Atlanta record when he was hit by a pitch for the 21st time this season.

Brewers: Fernando Vina had four hits, but was thrown out twice on the bases. Vina was thrown out at home in the first inning trying to score from second. In the third, Vina was thrown out trying to stretch a double into a triple.

Phillies: Bobby Abreu is tied for the major-league lead in outfield assists with 14, the most by a Philadelphia player since Phil Bradley had 14 in 1988.

Pirates: Pittsburgh has won six of eight since losing eight of nine. Tony Womack's streak of 20 consecutive successful steal attempts ended in the fifth. He leads the NL with 48 steals.
