August 16, 1998

Koch Homes has opened a model of the Georgetown at Farmington Village at Schramm's Farm in Pasadena, where turkeys once ruled the roost.

A swimming pool, clubhouse, tennis and volleyball courts, jogging trails and tot lots are among the amenities included in the northern Anne Arundel County community.

Gas cooking, heat and hot water, hardwood foyers, six-panel Colonial doors, crown molding, dining room chair rail and double bowl kitchen sink are standard features at Farmington Village.

"Because we are willing to customize each of our high-quality houses, every buyer gets exactly the home he or she has dreamed about," said Mike Boryk, the Koch sales associate at Farmington Village.

The Georgetown is a 2,919- square-foot home with a starting price of $249,900. Add a rear sun room and the area grows to 3,184 square feet with a cost of $270,900.

Flanking the two-story foyer are a 12-by-13-foot living room and 12-by-15-foot dining room.

A double garage, powder room, front and rear coat closets, 12-by-12-foot library, 19-by-15-foot family room and 12-by-12-foot kitchen with work island and pantry are also on the first floor.

Upstairs, the master suite has his-and-hers walk-in closets, a linen closet, 19-by-13-foot bedroom and bath with soaking tub, dual vanities, shower and privacy toilet.

A laundry room, linen closet, three additional bedrooms and full hall bath complete this level. "Empty nesters" may be drawn to the Newport, a Cape Cod that starts at $244,900 for 2,442 square feet.

Occupying the left rear of the first floor is the owner's quarters with a 14-by-18-foot bedroom, linen closet, his-and-hers walk-in closets and bath with a separate shower and dual vanities.

Also on the entry level are a two-story foyer, coat closet, laundry, powder and mud rooms, 16-by-19-foot family room, 9-by-14-foot breakfast room and 10-by-16-foot kitchen with work island and pantry.

The sales center is open from noon to 6 p.m. daily.
