Teen brothers in Severna Park charged with drug possession Officers say they found marijuana, pipes at home

A 13-year-old Severna Park boy and his 16-year-old brother were arrested on drug charges Wednesday night after narcotics detectives searched their home on a warrant and found what police said was marijuana and several smoking pipes in their bedrooms, officers said.

The brothers, of the 600 block of Whittier Parkway, were charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and released to the custody of their mother, police said.

Police said they obtained the search warrant after receiving complaints about the home.

The boys and their mother were home during the search, police said.

15-year-old suspected of stabbing man in Deale

Police are investigating a fight in Deale on Wednesday night in which a Calvert County man was stabbed several times in the back.

William Campbell, 19, of the 4400 block of Crest Drive in Huntingtown was taken to Prince George's Hospital Center, where he was in stable condition, police said.

A 15-year-old was treated at Anne Arundel Medical Center for a cut hand, police said.

Police said the two were in a fistfight in the 6000 block of Melbourne Ave. about 8: 40 p.m. Wednesday. Police accuse the 15-year-old of stabbing Campbell in the back. Police found the 15-year- old at the medical center. No charges have been filed.

Annapolis man charged with possession of drugs

A 26-year-old Annapolis man was arrested on drug and weaponcharges Wednesday after police arrested him on a trespassing charge in Pasadena and found what police said was crack cocaine, prescription pills and a .44-caliber Magnum, police said.

Police said officers patrolling Pasadena's Freetown community saw Lovester Curtis Johnson Jr. of the 1400 block of Log Inn Road sleeping in a stairwell in the 7800 block of Levy Court.

Police say that Johnson gave them a false name and that they found the gun, 46 Darvocet pills, seven Valium pills and the suspected crack cocaine after the trespassing arrest, police said.

In addition, Johnson was charged with three counts of drug possession, possession of a dangerous weapon and providing a false statement to a police officer, police said.
