Twins update

The Twins have lost five in a row, lowering their home record to 24-33 and falling into third place in the AL Central, a half-game behind Kansas City. They dropped three of five games to the Orioles earlier this year. Erickson shut them out on five hits at the Metrodome on May 11. Milton, who pitched at the University of Maryland, lost 2-0 to Mussina at Camden Yards on May 3. The Twins boast the league's leading hitter in Todd Walker, who has a .352 average. He is 36-for-72 (.500) in his last 21 games. Paul Molitor has returned from a fractured rib, but was 4-for-33 in nine games before going 2-for-5 yesterday. Radke has five complete games but was raked for 10 hits and six runs in 6 1/3 innings against the Orioles on May 1. If Ray Miller decides to use Doug Drabek out of the bullpen, he'll want to avoid matching him up with former Oriole Alex Ochoa, who's 8-for-11 against him. Other matchups worth noting: Harold Baines is 7-for-12 against Hawkins. Cal Ripken is 6-for-11 against him. And B. J. Surhoff is 9-for-20 with two homers against Radke.
