Jerome Charles Price, 64, bank vice president

Jerome Charles Price, who had been executive vice president and comptroller of Maryland National Bank, died of cancer Sunday at home in Perry Hall. He was 64.

Mr. Price joined Maryland National Bank as comptroller and executive vice president in 1966 and retired in 1991. The next year, he became financial director of the Maryland Science Center; he left that position last year.

He was assistant comptroller of the Greenspring Dairy from 1955 to 1965.

Mr. Price graduated from Loyola High School in 1951 and earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Baltimore in 1955. He later attended the Bank Administration Institute at the University of Wisconsin.

For four years, Mr. Price served in the Bank Administration Institute, Baltimore chapter. At various times, he held the positions of secretary, treasurer, vice president and president. He was also chairman of the United Way Campaign at Maryland National Bank in 1981.

Mr. Price was an usher at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Fullerton, where he brought Communion to the sick and taught the Catholic Christian doctrine to youths.

Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. tomorrow at St. Joseph, 8420 Belair Road.

He is survived by his wife, the former Patricia O'Neill, whom he married in 1955; two sons, Craig Price of Alexandria, Va., and Keith Price of Arcadia; a daughter, Elaine Healy of Rosedale; and nine grandchildren.
