Baltimore Blast Cheerleaders. Try-outs for cheerleaders and indoor soccer team's mascot, the Blaster, at 10 a.m. Aug. 16 at the Baltimore Arena. Call 410-73-BLAST.

Children's Chorus of Maryland. Needs boys and girls who love to sing. Music education for musically gifted children is conducted September through May at Bryn Mawr School. Children entering first or second grade in September are encouraged to audition. Limited openings for children entering third grade. Call for audition time, 410-377-8618.

Columbia Pro Cantare Chorus. Openings in all sections for 22nd season. Rehearsals are Tuesdays, beginning Sept. 8 at Hammond High School in Columbia. Call for audition time, 410-730-8549.

Dundalk Community Theatre. "Little Shop of Horrors." All roles are open.
