"My favorite book is 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas' by Dr. Seuss. This book is stupendous! In the story, the Grinch is tired of Christmas. Then the Grinch gets an idea! He tries to stop Christmas from coming. He does not succeed. I like this book because it shows how heartless people can be."

"My favorite book is 'Goosebumps: Beware the Snowman,' by R.L. Stine. It is about an evil Snowman. I like the story because I like scary stories and I like building a snowman. I have a whole collection of the Goosebumps books."

- Zachary Kirby,

Lansdowne Elementary

"The book 'Sideways Stories from Wayside School' by Louis Sacher, is a great book. It tells about all the students on the 13th floor. Some of my favorite characters are Eric Fry, Eric Bacon and Eric Ovens. This is a funny book. Don't wait for Wayside school to get normal, go and get this book at your local library."

- Molly Franz,

Fort Garrison Elementary
