North Laurel couple injured by shotgun blasts

A slumbering North Laurel couple was injured by shotgun blasts fired through their mobile home's wall early yesterday, police said.

Police said they have no suspects in the 5 a.m. shooting that occurred in the first block of Cross St. in Midway Mobile Home Park. Police reported three shotgun blasts. Both victims were struck in the legs.

Richard Morgan Kinney and Beth Ann Hanning were taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center and listed in serious but stable condition, authorities said. Their ages and other details were not available.
