Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Western District

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed Parkwood Liquors in the 2300 block of Orem Ave. of an undisclosed sum of money about 11 p.m. Tuesday.

Shooting: A man, 24, was in the 1100 block of Harlem Ave. about 12: 15 a.m. yesterday when a gunman chased him down the street and shot him once in the back. The victim was in stable condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center yesterday.

Rape: After a woman accepted a ride from an unlicensed cabbie driving a gray 4-door Chevrolet Cavalier with unknown tags about 4 a.m. Tuesday, the man drove her to a house in the 1500 block of N. Bentalou St. and raped her. The woman was treated at Mercy Medical Center.

Southern District

Theft: An eight-piece sterling silver set and a video camera, all valued at $6,000, were stolen from a cedar chest in the bedroom of a house in the 1900 block of Wilkens Ave. Tuesday.

Eastern District

Burglary: Two TVs, stereo equipment, 30 compact discs and a telephone were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 400 block of N. Patterson Park Ave.

Stabbing: A woman was driving in the 700 block of Kenwood Ave. about 7 a.m. Tuesday when she stopped and exited her vehicle to ask another female motorist why she was following her. The woman in the second car pulled a knife and stabbed the other woman in the chest and left hand. The injured woman was treated at an area hospital. Police said the stabbing was a domestic incident.

Northern District

Burglary: Four mountain bicycles valued at nearly $2,000 were stolen from a shed in the 5800 block of Meadowood Road between June 26 and June 29. The burglary was reported Tuesday.

North Point Precinct

Stolen vehicle: A black 4-door 1988 Jeep with tags M010941 was stolen Tuesday in the first block of Dundalk Ave.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglaries: At least 16 sheds in the 1500 block of Seling Ave., the 1500 block of Brian Road, Burnfield Road and Chapel Hill Drive were broken into overnight Monday and property was stolen.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: A laptop computer was stolen from an office in the first block of W. Pennsylvania Ave. overnight Monday.

Burglary: Stereo equipment and two leather coats were stolen from a house in the 1000 block of Charles View Way between May 23 and Tuesday.
