Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Northeastern District

Shooting: A man, 20, was driving in the 1600 block of Stonewood Road about 11: 50 p.m. Sunday when a passenger in a car next to his fired several shots, hitting him in the back three times and causing him to lose control of his car, which struck a parked car. The vehicle carrying the assailant drove off. The victim was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital and released.

Southwestern District

Shooting: A 17-year-old male was in the 400 block of Edgewood St. about 11: 30 p.m. Sunday when a man left a car and shot him in the right leg. The victim was in good condition at Bon Secours Hospital yesterday.

Burglary: Property valued at nearly $200 was stolen Saturday from a house in the 5100 block of Fredcrest Road. The thief entered through a kitchen window.

Theft: A cellular phone was stolen from a car parked in the first block of S. Pulaski St. on Saturday.

Southern District

Burglary: A 27-inch television, videocassette recorder, 10-gauge shotgun, a large caliber rifle and a Bowie-style knife, all valued at more than $1,400, were stolen Saturday from a house in the 600 block of S. Monroe St. The thief entered through a rear window.

Theft: Tools valued at $200 were stolen from a van parked Saturday in the 1800 block of S. Hanover St.

Burglary: A 27-inch television, compact disc player, watches, microwave oven, cash, cordless telephone, briefcase and a ski jacket, all valued at more than $3,000, were stolen Saturday from a house in the 1200 block of S. Hanover St.

Central District

Stolen car: A black 1990 Geo Metro with tags BVZ 939 was stolen Saturday in the 1000 block of N. Calvert St.

Northwestern District

Burglary: A lawn mower, video tapes and garden equipment were stolen Saturday from a house in the 5600 block of Fernpark Ave. The thief entered through a door.

Robbery: An 8-year-old boy was in the 3200 block of Taney Road about 6 p.m. Saturday when he was assaulted by an older male, who stole his bike valued at $300.

Stolen car: A gray 1988 Acura Legend with tags CGF 231 was stolen Saturday in the 4500 block of Fernpark Ave.

Eastern District

Stabbing: A 16-year-old girl was arrested and charged with stabbing another 16-year-old girl in the back with a knife during an argument Saturday evening in the 1600 block of E. Lanvale St. The victim was in critical but stable condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital yesterday.

Northern District

Burglary: A 26-inch bicycle valued at more than $200 was stolen Saturday from a garage in the 3900 block of Wilmary Lane.

Robbery: A gunman robbed Papa John's pizza in the 3700 block of Old York Road of less than $80 about 12: 30 a.m. Friday.

Robbery: A woman was in the 2800 block of Greenmount Ave. about 7: 40 p.m. Saturday when a man stole her purse containing cash and property, all of unknown value.

Theft: A man was standing in the first block of W. 20th St. on Saturday when another man snatched $100 from his hand.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered the Great American Snowball Stand in the 4100 block of E. Joppa Road overnight Saturday and stole a snowball-making machine valued at $1,000.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: An undisclosed sum of cash was stolen overnight Saturday from the Towson House Restaurant in the first block of W. Chesapeake Ave. The thief entered through a rear door.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: A 24-inch bicycle valued at $200 was stolen from a garage in the first block of Thaxton Court in Timonium on Saturday.
