Westminster High releases fourth-quarter honor roll

Westminster High School has announced its honor roll for the fourth quarter of the 1997-1998 academic year.

Fires

Westminster: Firefighters responded at 2: 22 p.m. Sunday to a fire alarm on Mount Holly Drive. Units were out 21 minutes.

Westminster: Firefighters from Westminster, Reese, Pleasant Valley and Union Bridge responded at 2: 50 p.m. Saturday to an electrical fire in the first block of W. George St. Units were out 26 minutes.

Westminster: Firefighters responded at 2: 12 p.m. Saturday to an auto fire in the 200 block of Malcolm Drive. Units were out 15 minutes.

Westminster: Firefighters from Westminster, Reese, Pleasant Valley and Union Bridge responded at 8 a.m. Friday to an odor of gas in the 100 block of Pennsylvania Ave. Units were out 20 minutes.

Police

Westminster: An employee at Bill's Produce on Washington Road told police Sunday that items were stolen from the business between 10: 15 p.m. Saturday and 9: 35 a.m. Sunday. Loss was estimated at $3,966.

Westminster: A resident of Liberty Street told police Saturday that his 1997 Trek bicycle was stolen while it was parked at the rear of the Westminster branch library. Loss was estimated at $223.

Westminster: A resident of Carroll View Avenue told police Saturday that her 1984 Pontiac Firebird was stolen last month while it was parked in the rear of Wimert Avenue. The loss was estimated at $2,000.

Westminster: A Gaithersburg resident told police Saturday that items were stolen from her vehicle while it was parked on West Main Street. Loss was estimated at $250.

Westminster: A resident of Spyglass Court told police Thursday that someone entered his vehicle and removed property. Loss was estimated at $123.

Westminster: A resident of Litchfield Circle told police Thursday that property was stolen from his home. Loss was estimated at $1,640.

Westminster: A resident of Buck Cash Drive told police Thursday that property was stolen from his vehicle while it was parked at his home. Loss was estimated at $1,069.

Westminster: An employee of Mathias Monuments on East Main Street told police Wednesday that someone tried to break into the business. Damage was estimated at $150.
