Catholic U.: Women's lacrosse coach Jeanne Harrington resigned to take same position at Princeton.

New Mexico State: Informed Neil McCarthy, who was reassigned from men's basketball coach to administrative position in October, that he's going off payroll Aug. 9; McCarthy has been on sick leave through most of 1997-98 school year.

Buccaneers: Signed LB Jamie Duncan, third-round pick, to three-year contract.
