Anchor Baptist Church to sponsor Bible school

Anchor Baptist Church will sponsor a Vacation Bible School from 6: 30 p.m. to 8: 45 p.m. Monday through Friday at the church, 320 West Pasadena Road.

"Passport to the Holy Land: Following Jesus Everyday" is a five-day world adventure featuring crafts, music and active Bible learning for children 4 to 12. There is no charge for this program.

Bible school starts Monday at Marley Park church

Marley Park Church of the Nazarene, 7741 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd., will offer "Adventure Unlimited: Come Follow the Sun" Vacation Bible School, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through July 17 for children who have completed kindergarten through sixth grade. The church is across from Marley Middle School.

Christian Bible Church to hold flea market July 18

The Christian Bible Church will be holding a flea market from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 18. Hot dogs and sodas will also be sold.

The flea market will be held at 594 Hammonds Lane, Brooklyn Park.

Temple Solel school includes Torah for Tots

Temple Solel, the Reform Jewish congregation serving Bowie and west Anne Arundel County, is now accepting enrollment for the 1998-1999 school year for its religious school.

The school offers a Torah for Tots program for 3- and 4-year-olds, as well as K-10 religious instruction.

Torah for Tots is open to children of non-members.
