Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Central District

Rape/arrest: Police arrested one man and were seeking another in the rape Monday night of a 38-year-old woman in a house in the 2100 block of McCulloh St.

Robbery: A woman was shopping at Lexington Market in the 200 block of N. Eutaw St. about noon Monday when two men knocked her to the floor and stole her purse containing cash and personal property.

Robbery: A gunman robbed two women of their money and jewelry, all valued at more than $1,200, in the 200 block of W. Mulberry St. about 1 a.m. Monday.

Northwestern District

Shooting: Four men were standing in the 4400 block of Pimlico Road about 4: 30 p.m. yesterday when a gunman standing near an alley on the other side of the street fired 11 shots from a 9 mm handgun, hitting one of them in the right foot. He was treated at Sinai Hospital. Police said the shooting was the result of a dispute.

Eastern District

Shooting: A man was in the 900 block of E. Eager St. about 11: 30 p.m. Monday when a gunman with whom he had argued earlier shot him in the right side. He was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Southern District

Carjacking: A motorist was stopped in the 400 block of S. Payson St. about 4 a.m. Monday when a man forced him out of his 1994 Mercury Tracer with tags EHH 784 and drove away.

Stolen car: A 1997 Subaru station agon with tags EMP 628 was stolen in the 100 block of W. Hamburg St. Monday.

Southwestern District

Robbery: Two men, one with a shotgun, robbed a man of $50 and tennis shoes, boots and sweat pants in the 300 block of N. Hilton St. about 3 a.m. Monday.

Stolen car: A 1991 Hyundai Sonata with tags DSJ 173 and equipped with an anti-theft device was stolen Monday in the 3600 block of W. Mulberry St.

Northern District

Stolen vehicle: A 1995 Jeep with tags 704031M was stolen in the 1900 block of Greenberry Road Monday.

White Marsh Precinct

Fireworks violation/injuries: Four teen-agers were sitting on the back porch of a house in the first block of Offspring Court in Perry Hall about 4: 30 p.m. Monday when one of them lighted the fuse of an M-80 firecracker and dropped it into an empty beer bottle. The blast sent glass splinters into the faces and hands of the youths. One was treated at the Wilmer Eye Clinic at Johns Hopkins Hospital; the others were less seriously injured. Charges were pending.

Vandalism: Six tires on an International truck were damaged while the vehicle was parked in the 8900 block of Yellow Brick Road Monday. The tires were valued at more than $1,000. In the 100 block of Philadelphia Ave. Monday, someone broke out the windows of a Mack truck. The windows were valued at $1,500.

Theft: An air conditioner valued at $2,000 was disconnected from the back of a house in the 2300 block of Bluegrass Heights Court Monday and stolen.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: A woman entered JR's Leather and Shoe Repair in the 2000 block of York Road through a window over the weekend and stole a videocassette recorder, several X-rated movies, cash and a pair of scissors, all valued at $800.

North Point Precinct

Burglary: Three bicycles valued at nearly $700 were stolen from a shed in the 7300 block of Bridgewood Drive Monday.

Burglary: A bicycle valued at $200 was stolen from the rear deck of a house in the 1900 block of August Ave. Monday.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: Cash and stereo equipment were stolen Monday from the Loch Raven Recreation Center in the 1800 block of Glen Keith Blvd.
