New position

EEC appoints Davis vice president for aftermarket services

Environmental Elements Corp. appointed Neil R. Davis as vice president, aftermarket services, for the Baltimore-based air pollution control equipment and services provider. Among his JTC responsibilities will be the development of plans to establish five maintenance/sales/service hubs in North America.

Before joining EEC, he was a vice president with Browning- Ferris Industries. Davis is an MBA graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park and also holds an engineering degree from Lafayette College. A Riderwood resident, he is active in the PTA and the Cub Scouts.

Imagination Software names Arnold COO, CFO

Imagination Software announced the selection of James B. Arnold as chief operating and chief financial officer for the Silver Spring-based firm. He will be responsible for the management of revenues and growth, as well as overseeing operations and development.

The Johns Hopkins finance graduate was formerly chief financial officer for AT&T Solutions and was involved in the creation of the AT&T Technology Center in Virginia.

Silagyi becomes VP, Beth Steel Sparrows Point

Bethlehem Steel Corp. appointed George Silagyi as a vice president at its Sparrows Point division. The Pennsylvania State University graduate has been with the giant steel maker since 1975 and most recently served as director of strategic studies at Sparrows Point.

A resident of Bel Air, he is active with the Fallston Recreation Council and is also a member of both the American and the international iron and steel institutes.


Wilson joins Crosby firm as production artist

Crosby Communications announced that Joseph S. Wilson has joined the staff of the Annapolis advertising firm as a production artist.

Formerly with Marriner Marketing Communications, the Baltimore resident is a graduate of the Savannah College of Art & Design.

Legal and insurance

Kruska, Kolbe appointed to posts with IWIF

Injured Workers' Insurance Fund appointed Lisa Kruska as a policy services officer and Kama Kolbe as director of underwriting for the Towson-based insurer.

Kruska will oversee management of the underwriting, premium audit and loss control departments. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, she was with Travelers Insurance Co., where she oversaw compliance and underwriting.

Kolbe, formerly with CNA Insurance, will supervise the operations of the underwriting department.
