Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Southern District

Shooting: A man, 23, was seated in his car in the 800 block of Carroll St. about 4 p.m. Wednesday when a gunman shot him twice in the left shoulder. Detective Jerry Weaver of the Violent Crimes Task Force said the victim drove himself to University of Maryland Medical Center, where he was in stable condition yesterday. No arrest had been made.

Southwestern District

Robbery: Two men were in the 2500 block of Washington Blvd. about 1: 20 a.m. Wednesday when two men, one with a handgun, got out of a 1998 Chevrolet Blazer and robbed them of $150, gold jewelry and six compact discs.

Theft: Tools valued at $2,000 were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 1400 block of Bloomfield Ave. Wednesday.

Robbery: A man, 46, was in the 4800 block of Edmondson Ave. about 1: 15 a.m. Wednesday when two men robbed him of $20.

Eastern District

Rape: Police were seeking a man accused of raping his step-daughter at knifepoint in their North Collington Avenue home Wednesday. The woman was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Northwestern District

Robbery try: A man, 26, was in the 5900 block of Western Run Drive Wednesday when a teen-age male armed with a 9 mm handgun demanded his money. When the victim told the youth, "I just returned from my honeymoon and don't have any money," the youth searched him, found no money and fled.

Robbery: A deliveryman for Golden Odyssey Pizza in the 6400 block of Reisterstown Road was making a delivery in the 3800 block of Menlo Drive Wednesday when three men, one with a metal pole, robbed him of $60 and two pizzas. The victim was struck with the pole and suffered a broken hand. He was treated at Sinai Hospital and released.

Stolen car: A 1996 Honda with tags DTE 350 was stolen Wednesday in the 3700 block of Benhurst Road.

Northern District

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a man of $25 in the 2400 block of N. Charles St. about 1: 15 a.m. Wednesday.

Burglary: Patio furniture valued at $500 was stolen from the back yard of a house in the 100 block of Homeland Ave. Wednesday.

North Point Precinct

Arrest: A woman, 29, was arrested and was to have been charged in an attack on her husband during an altercation outside their home in the 1900 block of Penhall Road Wednesday night. Police said the man, who was stabbed in the right arm and was treated at Franklin Square Hospital Center, could be charged with domestic assault.

Burglary: Jewelry and cash, all valued at more than $6,400, were stolen from a house in the first block of Kinship Road Wednesday by someone who entered through a door.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: A videocassette recorder and a Sony PlayStation were stolen from a house in the 6600 block of Ellsmere Place by someone who entered through a window.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: Police were seeking three men who stole a 1993 Kawasaki motorcycle and a 1998 Yamaha motorcycle, all valued at $9,000, from a shed in the first block of Glendorian Court Wednesday. The vehicles were recovered from a nearby house and were being stored, pending an investigation.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: A combination television/videocassette recorder and a second television were stolen from a house in the 3600 block of Bellmore Road Wednesday by someone who entered through a sliding glass door.

Robbery: A couple was in the 6500 block of Sanzo Road about 8: 25 a.m. Wednesday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed them of $18. The robbers drove off in a car with partial tags EPR.

Stolen car: A black 1989 Pontiac Grand Am with tags FHN 530 was stolen in the 600 block of Glynlee Court Wednesday.
