Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Southeastern District

Man sought: A man was being sought after he stabbed another && man in the upper body during an argument about 5 p.m. yesterday in the 2400 block of Orleans St., said Detective Lenny Willis. The victim, 37, was in critical condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Northwestern District

Stabbing: Two women were fighting in the 5200 block of St. Charles Ave. about 10 p.m. Monday when one stabbed the other in the left shoulder with a knife. The victim was treated at the scene and a warrant was issued for the arrest of the second woman.

Robbery: A woman, 29, was in the 5200 block of Park Heights Ave. about 10: 20 p.m. Monday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed her of $60.

Eastern District

Shooting: A 17-year-old female was in a house in the 1800 block of N. Durham St. about 4 a.m. Sunday when a man shot her in the left side with a shotgun. The victim was in stable condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital yesterday.

Southern District

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a man of a cellular phone, a 22-inch gold necklace and a pager, all valued at more than $500, in the 1500 block of Russell St. about 1 a.m. Monday.

Southwestern District

Burglary: A television and two videocassette recorders, all valued at more than $800, were stolen from a house in the 2100 block of Tucker Lane Monday.

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a man, 29, of $50 in the 200 block of North Bend Road about 9 p.m. Monday.

Northern District

Theft: A briefcase containing a cellular phone, calculator, and electronic organizer was stolen from a car in the 200 block of E. Northern Parkway Monday.

Stolen car: A 1987 Pontiac with tags CYS 030 was stolen in the 3900 block of Lowndes Ave. Monday.

Theft from vehicle: A cellular phone valued at $100 was stolen from a 1996 Toyota parked in the 300 block of Southway Monday.


Essex Precinct

Robbery: A 15-year-old male was at Seversky Court and Doolittle Road Monday night when a man in his mid-20s assaulted him and robbed him of $7.

North Point Precinct

Robbery: A homeless man was in a woods near Merritt Boulevard and Peninsula Expressway Monday when he was assaulted by two men who robbed him of $16.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: A former resident of a house in the 15800 block of Irish Ave. removed a weed eater, chain saw and a TV cable box, all valued at $400, from the dwelling Monday.

For the Record

Arrest: Leonard Willie Rockwell, 21, of the 800 block of E. Chase St., was arrested yesterday in the 1000 block of Brentwood Ave. on a warrant charging him with first-degree murder in the fatal shooting of Derrick McNeil, 18, of the 4900 block of Schaub Ave. as the victim walked in the 900 block of E. Chase St. Sunday night. Rockwell is being held without bail at the Central Booking and Intake Center.

Arrest: One man was arrested and a second was being sought in the death of Bobby Farantino Ross, 24, of the 1800 block of Barclay St., who was fatally shot Sunday afternoon in the 300 block of E. Federal St. Charged with first-degree murder and held without bail at the Central Booking and Intake Center is Robert Sciber, 32, of the 400 block of Pitman Place.
