Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Northeastern District

Bank robbery: A man who gave a teller a note demanding money robbed First National Bank in the 700 block of E. 25th St. of an undisclosed sum of cash about 1 p.m. yesterday.

Western District

Robbery: A woman was in the 200 block of N. Gilmor St. about 2 p.m. yesterday when a gunman robbed her of more than $200 and a Sony PlayStation.

Theft: Someone entered the cafeteria at Bon Secours Hospital in the 2000 block of W. Baltimore St. on June 12 and stole computer equipment valued at more than $2,000. The theft was reported yesterday.

Southern District

Robbery: Several youths entered Sam's grocery in the 1500 block of S. Charles St. about 5 p.m. Wednesday, assaulted an employee and stole $300 worth of goods.

Theft: A laptop computer valued at more than $3,000 was stolen Tuesday from Healthware Solutions at the South Harbor Business Center in the 1400 block of Key Highway.

Southwestern District

Burglary: Two cases containing baseball cards of unknown value were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 400 block of Furrow St. The thief entered through the roof.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: Police were seeking the person who was seriously cut after breaking a basement window and entering a house in the 10200 block of Greenside Drive overnight Tuesday. More than $1,000 worth of jewelry was stolen. Police said bloodstains were found throughout the house and that checks of area hospital emergency rooms failed to turn up anyone seeking medical treatment.

Burglary: Someone entered the greenhouse at Valley View Farms in the 11000 block of York Road overnight Tuesday after cutting a section of the plastic wall and removed seven golf carts used for hauling items. The carts, valued at more than $17,000, were later recovered on the property.

Burglary: Computer equipment of unknown value was stolen from the offices of Helix Health at the Foxleigh Building in the 2300 block of W. Joppa Road overnight Tuesday.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: Cutlery and pieces of dinnerware were stolen from a house in the 8700 block of Greenspring Ave. on Tuesday.

Burglary: Someone entered an apartment in the 6800 block of Liberty Road on Wednesday after breaking two patio windows, ransacked several rooms and poured detergent on several pieces of clothing.

Burglary: Police were seeking a known teen-age boy who entered a house in the first block of Huntersworth Court in Owings Mills between May 15 and June 24 and made several 900 calls.

Woodlawn Precinct

Burglary: Stereo equipment of unknown value was stolen Wednesday from a house in the first block of Ralden Court.

For the Record

Arrest: Tyrone Joseph Jones, 21, of the 300 block of E. 24th St., was charged yesterday with first-degree murder and a handgun violation in the fatal shooting of Tyree Wright, 16, as he sat on the front steps of his house about 10: 30 p.m. Wednesday in the 1700 block of E. Federal St. Police knew of no motive for the shooting.
