Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Southern District

Theft from vehicle: A bicycle rack and a set of fog lights, all valued at more than $500, were stolen Tuesday from a 1992 Plymouthparked in the 100 block of Scott St.

Burglary: Boots, clothing, jewelry and a watch, all valued at more than $800, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 900 block of Bayard St.

Eastern District

Burglary: Someone entered a tavern in the 2400 block of E. Chase St. Monday after knocking a hole through the wall of an adjacent building and stole $400 in cash and coins from a poker machine.

Northern District

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a 78-year-old of $200 about 11 p.m. Tuesday at a bus stop in the 2000 block of N. Charles St.

Burglary: Two mountain bicycles and a leaf blower, all valued at nearly $800, were stolen Tuesday from a garage in the 1000 block of W. Northern Parkway.

Burglary: Hand and power tools and a stereo radio, all valued at nearly $600, were stolen Tuesday from a garage in the 3000 block of Barclay St.

Towson Precinct

Robbery: A 22-year-old woman was at a bus stop in the 6800 block of Loch Raven Blvd. about 2: 15 p.m. Tuesday when two males, one of whom may have been armed, robbed her of her purse containing cash and property, all of unknown value.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglaries: Lawn care equipment and tools, all of unknown value, were stolen Tuesday from four sheds in the 7900 block of Dalrose Ave.

Burglaries: Two motorcycles, lawn care equipment and a bicycle, all of unknown value, were stolen Tuesday from three storage sheds in the 1100 block of Chesaco Ave.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: Seventy-two cases of paper products valued at $3,000 were stolen Monday from a trailer parked behind the Kmart store at the North Plaza Mall in the 8900 block of Waltham Woods Road.

Robbery: A 30-year-old man was shopping in the Super Pride in the 2400 block of Cleanleigh Drive about noon Tuesday when two men, who appeared to be unarmed, robbed him of $300 and a pager.

ARREST: City police said yesterday that Troy Donte Mayo, 20, of the 700 block of Wharton Court, was arrested June 11 and charged with first-degree murder and a handgun violation in the fatal shooting of Leroy Jones, 25, of the 3300 block of Bloomingdale Road. Jones was working on his car in the 2000 block of Hollins St. June 9 when he was shot in the head by a man with whom he was talking. Jones died the next day at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. A witness' description of a car leaving the scene led to Mayo's arrest outside his home, said Detective Scott Serio. Serio said both men knew each other but that he knew of no motive for the slaying. Mayo is being held without bail at the Central Booking and Intake Center.
