Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Central District

Shooting: A man, 39, was in critical condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center yesterday after he was shot in the upper body while sitting in his car parked in the 200 block of President St. about 12: 30 a.m. Saturday. At least two other men were in the vehicle. No arrests had been made.

Southwestern District

Robbery: A gunman robbed Dunkin Donuts in the 2300 block of Wilkens Ave. of cash about 11: 30 p.m. Saturday.

Theft: A Glock-19 9 mm semiautomatic handgun valued at nearly $500 was stolen Friday from the trunk of a car parked in the 600 block of Manordene Road. A female suspect was being sought.

Northwestern District

Robbery: A woman was in the 3200 block of N. Hilton St. about 10: 30 p.m. Friday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed her of $30 and a cellular phone.

Cab holdup: A gunman robbed a County Cab driver of nearly $100 about 10 a.m. Friday in the 4000 block of N. Hilton St.

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed Meineke Discount Mufflers in the 3300 block of W. Cold Spring Lane of more than $100 about 1 p.m. Friday.

Robbery: Three men, one with a handgun, robbed a man of $3 in the 4600 block of W. Forest Park Ave. about 7 p.m. Saturday.

White Marsh

Shooting: Several men were attempting to force a man into a dark-colored Nissan Maxima in the 5700 block of Hamilton Ave. about 1 a.m. Saturday when one of them shot him in the back. The assailants drove off. The victim was in serious condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center yesterday.

Robbery: During a drug transaction between two men on a parking lot at Philadelphia Road and King Avenue about 1 a.m. Friday, one of the men disabled the other with a stun gun and robbed him of a quarter-ounce of cocaine. The suspect drove off in a 1987 Chevrolet.

North Point Precinct

Burglary: A videocassette recorder valued at $200 was stolen Saturday from a house in the 5300 block of New Pittsburgh Ave.

Towson Precinct

Robbery: A teen-age couple was in the 6600 block of York Road about 11 p.m. Friday when two men, one of whom implied he had a gun, robbed the girl of $5.

Wilkens Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered Frank's Nursery & Crafts in the 6500 block Baltimore National Pike overnight Friday by cutting a hole in a chain-link fence and using a shovel to shatter a glass door. No property was stolen, but damage to the fence and door was $1,000.
