Man, 18, in critical condition after shooting in Annapolis

An 18-year-old Annapolis man was in critical condition yesterday after he was shot in the back Friday evening.

Darryl Collins of the first block of College Creek Terrace was taken to Prince George's Hospital's shock trauma unit with a single gunshot wound.

A second victim, John R. Furbush, 17, of the 100 block of Obery Court in Annapolis, suffered a minor gunshot wound to his left arm. He was treated at the scene.

Sgt. Robert Beans of the Annapolis Police Department said police had identified a suspect but no arrest had been made.

Police received a call about 7 p.m. Friday about shots fired in the first block of College Creek Terrace. Officers are continuing their investigation.
