New positions

Alcore appoints Draghi, Halbeisen and Mullery

Alcore Inc. announced the appointments of Gary Halbeisen and Paul Draghi as vice presidents and Kevin Mullery as research and development manager for the Belcamp-based producer of structural core materials.

Halbeisen, who will be responsible for business operations, was an engineering manager with Boeing Corp. He is a graduate of California State University at Long Beach and resides in Abingdon. Draghi, who will oversee manufacturing, is a graduate of California State Polytechnic University. Mullery, an engineering graduate of Manhattan College, was an engineering manager for Anchor Hocking Inc. before joining Alcore. A resident of Delaware, he is an avid sportsman.

Gardiner to manage Rouse's Mondawmin Mall

The Rouse Co. promoted Brian K. Gardiner to vice president and general manager for Mondawmin Mall and Metro Plaza. An MBA graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, he formerly was the unit's marketing manager. Gardiner previously was director of marketing for Jordon Kitt Music.

Neiderer joins Crosby as account supervisor

Crosby Marketing Communications in Annapolis has hired Kerri Neiderer as an account supervisor. The University of Richmond graduate formerly was an integrated marketing manager with Richardson, Myers & Donofrio of Baltimore. She resides in Crofton.

Howard names Miceli as account executive

Lawrence Howard & Associates named Adam R. Miceli an account executive for the Reisterstown advertising and market research firm. He will oversee and manage advertising and public relations campaign development and implementation. The Columbia resident is a journalism graduate of West Virginia University.

Banking and finance

Minch and Paxton join Columbia Bank

Columbia Bank appointed Paul H. Minch as a residential mortgage originator and Dottie C. Paxton as a branch manager.

Minch, an MBA graduate of Loyola College, was formerly with Provident Mortgage Corp. A Lutherville resident, he is a member of several professional and civic organizations, including the Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors.

Paxton, assigned to the Wilde Lake Village Center branch, was an assistant vice president and bank center manager for NationsBank. She is a Towson University graduate and lives in Columbia.

Commercial real estate

MacKenzie becomes sales and leasing associate

MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services named Charley MacKenzie a sales and leasing associate. He will be assigned to the firm's Annapolis office and handle brokerage activity in areas including Anne Arundel and Baltimore counties and the Eastern Shore. Formerly a regional advertising manager for Chesapeake Bay magazine, the Trappe resident is a graduate of St. Lawrence University.
