Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Western District

Robbery: A man was in the 1700 block of W. North Ave. about 12: 20 p.m. yesterday when another man struck him over the head with a baseball bat and robbed him of $20. The victim was treated at Liberty Medical Center.

Stolen car: A 1989 Nissan Stanza with tags FHA 110 was stolen Sunday in the 1800 block of Edmondson Ave.

Stolen car: A 1991 Nissan Maxima with tags DWK 926 was stolen in the 1100 block of N. Stricker St. on Sunday.

Eastern District

Shooting: A 16-year-old male was in the 1600 block of E. Lanvale St. about 10 p.m. Saturday when a man shot him in the right leg. The victim was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Northwestern District

Stolen car: A 1991 Nissan 300ZX with tags DAK 089 was stolen between Saturday afternoon and Sunday night in the 4000 block of Hayward Ave.

Robbery: Two men, one with a knife, robbed another man of his watch and $55 in the 4800 block of Beaufort Ave. about 1 a.m. Saturday. The victim was cut on the left hand.

Robbery: A man who implied he had a handgun robbed a 42-year-old man of $14 in the 4400 block of N. Rogers Ave. about 8 a.m. Sunday.

Southeastern District

Robbery try: Police were seeking a gunman who entered the Mobil station in the 5500 block of O'Donnell St. about 5: 15 a.m. Sunday and demanded money and fled moments later for no apparent reason without taking any money.

Southern District

Theft/assault: A security officer at Rite-Aid in the 900 block of E. Patapsco Ave. was assaulted Saturday while arresting a woman for allegedly stealing $72 worth of cosmetics. Charged with theft and assault was Wilma Washington, 46, of the 1300 block of Pontiac Ave.

Southwestern District

Burglary: Computer equipment of unknown value was stolen between Saturday night or Sunday morning from St. Bernadine's Head Start Center in the 600 block of Mount Holly St.

Robbery: A man was talking on an outside pay phone in the 3400 block of Frederick Ave. about 1 a.m. Sunday when two men, one with a knife, robbed him of money, pager and his 1997 Ford Escort with tags EBM 746.

Northern District

Theft: Someone stole seven video games valued at nearly $400 from Blockbuster Video in the 1000 block of W. 41st St. on Sunday

White Marsh Precinct

Robbery try/arrest: A man and a male juvenile were arrested about 4 a.m. Sunday after they attempted to rob a couple of their car outside Denny's in the 1400 block of Merritt Blvd.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: A circular saw and a nail gun, valued at nearly $1,000, were stolen Sunday from a house under construction in the 700 block of Bentley Road by someone who entered through a side door.
